Requirements for Installation on a Customer's Server

• As a database, Microsoft SQL Server 2000+ or SQL Server Express is required. Please note Microsoft's specifications for the use and installation of the SQL server, which is not part of tm5 and has to be supplied by the customer.
• At least 10 GB of disk space should be made available for the live system. The same applies for any other backup or test system.
• IIS (Internet Information Services) version 5.0 or 6.0 as part of Microsoft Server 2000+ is also required. We recommend Microsoft Server 2003, which includes version 6.0 as standard.
• We recommend using separate computers for the application and the database.
• tm5 supports both 32 bit and 64 bit servers

Special Features

• If ICDISPUTE is used, an SMTP service for sending e-mails from the system must be set up.
• If LMPAYMENT is used, special communications components are required which have to be installed on a separate payment gateway. A payment gateway operated by BELLIN can be used, or one can be installed on-site.
• If TTRISKWATCH is used, significantly more memory should be installed, as simulations produce large amounts of data.

The Payment Gateway

The installation of an on-site gateway is independent from the installation of tm5. All options are available.

You can operate/have operated

• tm5 on your premises and the payment gateway at BELLIN
• tm5 at BELLIN and the gateway as an on-site installation
• both at BELLIN or
• both on your premises.

If you decide to operate the Payment Gateway yourself, then you must ensure that the necessary communication components are installed on a computer dedicated to this purpose. Please note that payments is a critical component and that corresponding hardware and maintenance resources should be made available.

Depending upon the component to be installed, apart from the standard requirements (Microsoft Windows Server 2000+), an ISDN card is required. When installing tm5 in a closed intranet, please note that the payment gateway (communication server) has to be connected to the outside world via ISDN or via IP addresses.
